ALV insert new row

Hello,

I have a editable ALV grid. I disabled the standard grid button for add rows opperations and I added my own custom button in the ALV toolbar, in order to do validation and authorisation checks before save. How can I implement the Add rows functionality ? What I have right now in mind is to add a blank line to my internal table and make that row editable. Is this tha right way? Is there a buitl in method or something like that to make things easier?

Hi,

There are many std program available in SAP..BCALV_EDIT_04, will help you to solve this problem.

Search for BCALV_* FM in se37 to get the whole list.

hope this might solve your problem.
