ALV Grid Export Column Text

Hello guys,

I have an ALV Grid and created the column textes (header) by myself. This works fine. Now I have a question. Is it possible, when you click on export to excel that the excel file itself got different column textes for the headline than the grid itself? At the moment they are the same.

Hello,

Yes it is. You may need to write your own event and function to download Excel from ALV Table when user click export.

Ok I thought at SAP standard behaviour. It is not that important to write an own download routine 😉

Well there is the SAP standard behaviour with the different possible header text you can provide the ALV depending on how wide your column is when shown.
