Is it possible to output ALV Report other than Excel Format..?

You Mean fron ALV right.

Thru program u can download it to a notepad (using GUI_DOWNLOAD).

but from ALV u can directly put it in excel only.

Using this option u can download ALV output on Excel,flat file, word file...

Hi,

Yes you can get the alv output in ALV grid, Lotus, Excel and crystal report format. Goto setting- layout- change- view. you can also use standard excel template .

I have the problem in this as well, whereby MS Excel was launched when I click on Excel icon, but with no data populated.

Excel 2007/Excel 2003/ Excel 2002

Windows XP

ECC6.0

SAP GUI 7.10 Patch 9.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Alv reports always display in Exl format.

If you want some other format then use Claasical Report.

I think it's clear now.
