Thanks for the reply. I tried that but we dont have auths for that in production.

Our issue is for one of the company codes with statistical controlling area the line items are not being posted into custom special ledger for new year.

Interestingly for other company codes (not statistical controlling area) its not shown as active line items for the new year but the items are still being posted to custom special ledger?? BTW what is the statistical controlling area?

and forgot to add that we dont have authorisation for GCLE in production!!! so how it is happeneing for other co codes and not for this one?

I doubt if this is an ABAP problem. You should talk to someone with a good functional understanding of the process.
