Alternative BOM creation problem

Hi All ,

I am working on Inbound BOM creation using BOMMAT04 . it is getting created but when i tried with the same idoc for alternative BOM getting error BOM with material already exists.

while sending second time i have checked ALTST = X . still no use .

does anybody created alternative BOMS using inbound IDOCs.

Try passing value Alternate BOM Value (01) to E1MASTM-STLAL segment

i have tried that one .. error .. aying Bom already exists .

any other fields to notify as this idoc is alternative BOM of first one.

How many entries are there in MAST table for that 'Material'
