alter table

Hi all,

I've been added two extra fileds ( text1 and text2 ) to ztable and activated. table was activated. but later on i've changed text1 type as 'date' from char.

Now table is not activating and getting error like 'Alter table is not possible!!'

could any please suggest me in this regard..

goto se11--> your table name > utilities> databse utility ->Activate and Adjust database..

delete the whole field and add again

also make sure that adjust/activate the table in SE14

Hi,

Go to SE14. Give yr table name and edit. There click on activate and adjust database. Now ur prob will be solved.

Hi

1. select the field which you want to change and then delete.

2. on the top of the fields table control u find insert button click on it.

3. create new field which u want to.

Why dont u delete the field and try creating it once more .

Do activate the table once you are done ...
