try to go SAP programs SE37 - > type IDOCINPUT*

you will get many idoc related programs.. run the functional modules, go in debug mode and try to explore

Hi Marc,

You can try referring to ALE AND IDOC book by <b>Arvind Nagpal.</b> This is a very good book for understanding the basics of ALE. I would strongly recommend to buy this book and use it.

The book explains the concepts in very simple language with complete screen shots.
