ALE Material Create with Classification View

Can I create a material via an IDoc with a classificaton view? In MATMAS05 / IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 I see segments E1CUCFG, E1CUINS, etc. but I can't find any documentation on how to use them.

Did you find the answer for your question? We also have the same kind of requirement to populate these classification fields in MATMAS.

Please check note 545626 - FAQ: Data transfer problems,


Q3: Why can no classification data be maintained by transfers?


  A: The classification is an external object included in the online maintenance of the material master.  For the transfer of this data, you should use ALE type CLFMAS.
