ALE Inbound and Outbound programs

Hi,

Can someone tell me as to how we create the inbound and outbound programs for ALEs??And the cenerio where we use the std FMs and where we use the customs programs for the corresponding action?

Hi

Hope you know the ALE basics....

Outbound: Sending System

Inbound: Receiving System

Take the Materail Data migration from one system to another

Now You have to know the follwing detls:

Basic Type: MATMAS01

Message Type: MATMAS

Process Code..etc

Now In outbound our purpose is to fill the Material Data into IDoc and call the FM MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to send the IDoc to destination

For this if there is any standrad program available , then we will use that only

Otherwise we have to develop our own.

In this case we can go for Outbound FM or PROGRAM.. tht's our choice

Same with the INBound

COming to Custom IDocs we must develop POSTING PROGRAM and SELECTION PROGRAM
