ALE Distribution Model..

Hi,

I am sending Idocs from system A to system B. Both are SAP systems. B is only receiver system and not sending any data to system A.

I have prepared ALE configuration in system A. I have created tRFC, created port and also defined partner profile in system A. Here I want to ask whether I need to create Distribution Model in system A?

Dear ABAP Guy,

Distribution Model will be required. It is consulted to determine the recipients. It is also used to prepare the communication IDoc specific to the Partner based on filter conditions mentioned in the distribution model.
