Advance Correction on notes

Hi Gurus,

Could you please give me some detail on 'Advance Correction' and 'Release Independent' for NOTE.

please explain me how to find out these?

Hi Mowbin,

Release independent means the note or solution suggested by SAP is applicable to all releases of SAP. It is not restricted to certain SAP release for eg. some solutions are applicable only for SAP_APPL 600 to 600.

Advance correction means SAP has not delivered the solution programs or code in SAP patches. The solution provided by the SAP needs to be done manually. Such corrections are called as Advance corrections.

Thanks for giving me clear explanation. you know shekar further i wanted to know about 'Advance Correction'

is: how iam going to find out note needs advance correction , if it needs than what the role of abaper and how is he going to proceed . please give me in detail because i am abaper.
