HI Lande,

There is nothing to delete. Here is what you should do:

Following procedure applies to both symptoms:

    1. Open the corresponding form in the original language in change mode in Form Builder
    2. Choose the Layout tab of Form Builder to open the form layout in Adobe Designer.
    3. Identify and select the concerned text element in the layout so that it will be highlighted in the hierarchy tree of the Adobe Designer
    4. Go to the XML Source tab of the Adobe Designer

The XML source shows the section of the selected form element.

     5. Go to the appropriate <exData/> element and delete the occurrence of attributes

     xft-xliff:id or xliff:rid

.

6. Leave the XML source tab and save the changes.

7. Activate the form.

Ashvin

Lande,

I guess you should remove only xft-xliff:id="N1123".

This seems to be the only attribute in your case...

After translating more than one time, go to your adobe form layout - save and activate the changes (don't do any change just save activate it.)

That's it, now check the output

Hi,

First of all after translating the Text .

Save all the Text in the Transport for which follow the below steps:

1.Go to Tcode SLXT.

       i)Change the Target Language

       ii)Unchecked the "Create New Transport"

iii)Check the Grant Non SLXT Request.

iv)Give Transport in the Transport Request

v)Give the Processing Date , if maintained today, give the today's date in both To and From

2.Click on excute.

3. Go to SE09-->Open the TR and Check in Object List of Request-->In Translation for: SAP Smart Form, you will see the like " PT Text Module Name.

Follow the process for translating in second language.

1.In the Form -->Context-->Where you have added the Text Module-->In that, pass the text language       e.g NAST-SPRAS or the language in which you want the form to be displayed.

2. If you are assigning the output type to the Tcode like VA02,VT02N etc , if yes then check the

   language you are passing.

3. Lastly, you can try with Logout from SAP and login with the language you want the form to be printed.

Please let me know if still the issue is not resolved.

Regards,

Shweta

Hi,

I do not know if it is too late or not, but I had the same problem. What I did was to change a layout field, for example a text field with length 20. I changed it for 21, then saved and put it back to 20 and saved again, activated and the new translations showed.

It seems to be an SAP issue.

Ernesto
