create an append menu to the standard menu S000 using SE80.

Select the button maintain object, select the radio button menu area in 'others' tile, fill the object with menu area S000 and press change.

A popup will ask you if you want change or extend.

choose extend and proceed as usual: it will be considered as append, not modification of standard menu.

Thanks for the answer Roberto. Another question. Do you know what happens with the additions when sap is upgraded ? Must we do our menu additions again ?

No, if you make as an append, it won't be overwritten.
