Hello Friends,
My client wants to add a new (Customer Specific) folder and subfolders which contains custom transactions developed for the project to SAP menu in SAP Easy Access/Main screen i.e Tcode : SESSION_MANAGER or first screen after login.
Can some help me in achieving this by giving me some steps on how to add addition T-codes to main menu?
Note: This should is NOT a user menu/favorites issue. They want to add these T-codes that can be viewed by all users and can be moved from one system to another system.
Thanks
Venkat

Hi Nani,
Assuming you have created Z area menu with transaction code(s) then ...
1. SE43 -> enter area menu S000 -> click on change button -> select extend button.
2. Clik on create button -> Enter Z enhancement ID and description -> Click on save button -> then create new transport request.
3. Your new custom enhancement ID should be displayed on Enhancement ID: original list and double click it. The system will take you to the edit area menu S000.
4. In here, you can choose area where you want to insert your custom area menu by clicking add entry as subnode button (ShiftF7) or add entry at same level button (ShiftF8).
5. For example, you want to add under Tool menu. Then you need to place the cursor at Tool menu and click on add entry as subnode button. Add new entries screen will be displayed then you select the check box to add a reference to another area menu. From here, you should be able to find your custom area menu and insert it.
6. If you want to insert SAP transaction then please do not select the check box.
7. At the end, please do not forget to save the changes.
Hope this will help and guide you.

Hi Nani,
You just need to extend menu S000 using transaction SE43. When you click on extension, system will show all extension available. You need to create a new extension and insert your menu nodes there.

Hello Ferry,
I followed your instructions. But still do not see custom/additional transactions in main menu.
I have added an enhancement to area menu S000 but I do not see any additional to main menu.
Also, when I have added an enhancement this adds to Original id. Is that the way it is suppose to be, I see that all other enhancements are to Not Original. Is this the issue?
Thanks

Hello Ferry,
I followed step by step process mentioned in your reply and note. I am still missing something. I still cannot see my area menu in main menu tree.
Is there a way I can send you step by step screen shots and then you can help me by pointing out my mistake?
I do not know how to attach a file here. If you can share your e-mail id, I can send you the screen shots or you.
Thanks for you help.
