Hi Gurus,

I am adding user fields in CJ06,CJ07,CJ08, already SAP provided user exit- screen exit ( SAPLCJWB0205_CUSTSCR1_SAPLXCN10600 ). i found exits and procedure in SPRO.

I need to create tab and in that need to add user fields . For this , i went to screen painter using the screen number , already some fields are existing , Sap mentioned ( The screen has been preconfigured by SAP. You can delete these fields and add new ones:) So shall i delete those fields and add my user fields. Please advice.

I added Tab in screen number - 998 , already sub screen is exixting and In that subscreen , i am unable to insert the user fields because i am getting error showing : Collision at target location (2 element(s) truncated or not copied).

If any one come across this kind of requirement or anyone added user fields in CJ06,CJ07,CJ08.

Please provide me the solution.

Via CMOD, double-click on any of the two screen exits leads to dynpro SAPLXCN1 0600 (sub-screen) where you add your customer fields, SAP will manage itself the standard screen 0998 to add another tab. (Read the how-to notes mentionned in my first answer)

Thanks for your valuable answers.

But when i doub click SAPLXCN1 0600 (sub-screen), it went to screen painter: display screen for SAPLXCN1, In that, i clicked on layout where we can add my user fields, but already sap preconfigured some fields , so shall i delete those fields and can i add my user fields? .

Please suggest me solution .

Hi Gurus,

I added my user fields in SAPLXCN1 0600 (sub-screen) and activated all includes and activated my project .

In spro , sap mentioned : For your customer-specific fields to be evaluated in the project information system, the structures in the project information system must be regenerated. To do this, start program RCNCT001(Final step).

i ran the pgm in RCNCT001 and i clicked on PS info system structures and executed but it is asking access key, then i cancelled it i got another screen Generate field string : field sting selection , in this there are 4 input parameters, wht i need to enter, please suggest me or is that correct way to proceed further . please advice.

When RCNCT001 ask for access key, don't cancel but select display, and ignore the warning message, do it for each object. (the fields will be filled now, and you will be able to select fields)

But when i select display , i can see General field string : Field string selection screen .

In that there are 4 parameters 1. Field string name

2. Name of supplement field bar

3. Include name

4. Name of selection inlcude

Please suggest me what i need to enter values in those parameters. Please advice to proceed further.
