Adding table in IMG

Hi All,

I created a customized table and maintenance generator for the same, I want to make an entry under a node for this table with some text so that when someone wants to see the table contents one can see it through clicking the node in the IMG.

Hi,

After the creation of Table and Table Maintenance Generator, To add this you have to know the correct AREA MENU of the node in IMF, under which node you wants to add your table entry. And have to take the access key if needed and to add.

Hi,

You need to modify the structure ( node ) that you want to modify using transaction SIMGH. First you need to go to transaction SIMGH.

In the IMG structure just press f4 -> you need to give the title of the structure that needs to be edited. f8. Then you can modify the structure -> insert node.

You need to give the node text.

After creating the node, click on the node and select insert activity.

In the ID field give an entry, Give the description in 'name'.

Select tab 'Maintain objects'. Give the same ID and description.

Now in the table control, Under column 'Customizing object' You can give the table name that you have created. type is 'S' and transaction code is SM30 and save.

If you want to create your own structure, you need to select the create button at the beginning of transaction SIMGH. Build the structure with node & assign activity.

Then you have the option of including the new structure in position that you require again thru same transaction.

Hello,

Recently I added a new IMG activity but my problem is I lost all changes when BASIS applied a patch, so I was wondering is there a way to stop happening this again?
