is there a way to add sound to a message or pop-up message?

when my users work in MIGO transaction using Barcode Reader they dont put attention to the pop up messages that display on the screen , i want to add sound so they'll know that someting happened and they will have to look on the screen

thanx

Hi,

I think, you cannot give sound in all systems. I feel, some settings to be done in every PC, which is not feasible. I may be wrong also.

However, why do you need sound? If the message is pop-up message, then there is no way of missing it, as you have to click on some button to proceed. And if you have any status messages, then you can make it a warning, hence until and unless user clicks enter, it will not proceed.

Sounds are controlled through GUI options.

Click on Alt+F12 in SAP GUI window and click options, therein you can control the way notifications behave including sound. This needs settings on the individual user PCs

The problem is that the Barcode Reader does an automatic ENTER after it reads the material enter - so the popup dont wait for the user to click 'ENTER'
