Adding more fields to ME55

I need to add more fields like Cost-Center etc to the result list of ME55. What is the best way to do this?

Please advise and thanks much in advance.

When I searched for this question on forum I did come across the question posted earlier but it was not answered. please help.

Hi,

Copy the standard program to a Z program and add the fields to that.

Thanks for the reply, Krishna. But I think it is a too complex program (ME55). The main program just queries the data and pass it on to another standard program (RM06BL00 and sapfm06b) that displays it.

I am looking for more detailed help...if anyone has done this before please help!!!
