Hi Experts,
I already have a HANA studio installed in my system (Version 58), now I want to add the ABAP development and UI5 plugins. I tried to do that by going to Help->Add new software and giving the URL as https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/juno. Though I can see the plug-ins but when I add them and go to the next screen, I see an error message.
The error message is:
“Software being installed: ABAP Connectivity And Integration Development Tools (Developer Edition) 1.0.4 (com.sap.adt.pitools.tlf.devedition.feature.group 1.0.4).
Missing requirement: ABAP Connectivity And Integration Development Tools (Developer Edition) 1.0.4 (com.sap.adt.pitools.tlf.devedition.feature.group 1.0.4) requires 'org.eclipse.emf.query.feature.group [1.5.0,2.0.0)' but it could not be found”.
As I already have HANA studio which is also eclipse based, so I think we do not need to install one more eclipse for ABAP. Please help me in getting started to work on ABAP in HANA, the Eclipse way.

Hi,
it seems you installed the HANA Studio in the "Program Files" folder. This leads to authorization problems with the update sites.
Please install the HANA studio outside the "Program Files" folder again. This should help.
Cheers
Jens

Hi Yeu Sheng,
I could not locate ABAP plug-ins in the link provided by you.
I tried putting it in the HANA studio-->Help-->Add new software, but it did not show any ABAP plug-ins.

Chandan

"This leads to authorization problems"... Thank you, that was the hint!
I have installed the HANA Studio in the "Program Files" folder, too.
For deploying the new plugins, I started the SAP HANA Studio [right-click: Run as administrator], then it worked w/o having moved the binaries to another folder

Hi,
you will find all SAP specific eclipse tools via the updatesite:
http://tools.hana.ondemand.com
For the installation you have to enter the update site:
http://tools.hana.ondemand.com/kepler in case you are using Eclipse Kepler or
http://tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna in case you are using Eclipse Luna.
We are recommending to use the latest version - Luna.
Kind Regards,
Thomas.
