Hi,

Does anyone know why I hav added TCODE into role menu from a single role using PFCG, and have compiled the authorization and did a user comparison. But still my users cannot see the TCODE from the menu path?

Hi Wen,

Please cross check your role menu once again, and find out the tcode. You may be added under different node.

Ask your users to use user 's menu, it will appear there.

let me know the update

Hi again,

I have put the node in the correct sub menu folder in PFCG -> Role Menu.

Also, we are accessing from the user menu, at the correct sub folder, but still we cannot see the newly added transaction code

Any solution?

Thanks

Hi again,

I managed to troubleshoot part of the problem. Found out the role menu i changed belong to a single role, so I try to "merge" and "reimport" the menu into the composite role. Only "reimport" works. However, after reimport and also reassgn the role back to user. The user's menu is still not updated. What else did I missed out?

Also, why does "merge" in composite role's menu fails to show the update?

hi again,

I able to use the merge will create a new folder option for me to readjust the new tcodes.

However, user menu still not updated.

Wen,

Keep it simple first when troubleshooting. Only assign the simple role first and see it you get the menu.

Hi,

If you generated the menu in the composite role, you have to do this again after an update. It doesn't do this automaticly. Beaware that you use the option transaction when adding a transaction in the single role (menu tab), if you use authorization default you will see it in the menu screen only the user will not see this transaction. Using this authorization default possibility for a transaction, you will not see this transaction in some suim reports.

Have fun

Hi J,

Thanks, I have added through the option "transaction" in the role menu. I dont have any authorization folder for the composite role thus not able to regenerate the composite role. Available folders are only "description", "role", "menu", "user", "personalization"

I think I might know the cause already. My users has too many roles, and the menu might be merged from old roles that has the same menu does not have the update.

I created a new user with only that composite role assigned, and the menu works fine.

thanks all
