Add/update commitment to project

Hi,

I need some help regarding PO commitments.

When a creates/updates a PO in ME21N/ME22N and saves it, a commitment should be added/updated to the project specified by value of the PO line item. I have to add/update the commitment inside a BADI using FM K_OPEN_ITEM_PO. But the parameters are not matching in this function module. Can anyone suggest any other function module that can add/update a commitment.

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me solve this fast as this is a road-block in proceeding further. I would reward points to answers that are helpful.
