Is there any way to find out if an employee(HR) is active, ie in roles? I jus want to filter out employees who are retired..

Use FM:

HR_PT_CHECK_EMPLOYEE_ACTIVE

or

CATS_CHECK_EMPLOYEE_ACTIVE
