I have created a Z table with 5 fileds out of that 1 field is "Currency Field". When i'm trying to activate its showing error and not getting activated. I heard that whenever currency field is there we can't activate with normally, for that we need to follow some other mechanism. can any one guide me what is that and how to solve that...

Hi,

You need to mention the Reference table and reference fields for the Currency field, then Activate the table, if it still giving the problem, then goto SE14 and give the table then Press Adjust and Activate button

Hi,

If you are using any currency fields, you should give reference table name and reference field in Currency/Quantity fields tab.

For example in your case you give BSIS in reference table name and WAERS in reference field name. If it is a table make sure that there should be a primary key should be ticked. And then save and activate.

Thanks,

Sriram Ponna.

I think you dint assign any reference currency key for your currency field...

just check the tab Currency/ Quantity fields there in ref field give WAERS or any currency key field name and ref table give EKKO or any table name which contains that currency key field...

If after that also if you get problem go to SE14 and adjust the table.

Hi Vamsi,

Yes. Whenever we have currency or quantity fields, we need to give reference table / field.

In the table definition, go to fourth tab names "Currency/Quantity fields". Here, you need to specify the Reference table & Reference fields.

FOr ex. for DMBTR you can give table: T001 & field:WAERS.

Reward helpful answers.

Hi vamsi,

Plz verify below things your problem got solved.

  • Provide reference field for QUAN, CURR fields

  • Make sure all your Domains, Data elements that you have used are in

ACTIVE position.

  • Make sure you have given the technical settings for your table.

  • Perform the syntax check, If it is giving warning messages plz ignore it

and activate the table.

  • I hope this will get your job done.
