Accessing material data through mseg

Hi guys,

I have been working on a subcontracting Purchase Order. I have a problem that I want to access material information at the item level in the material tab under component button where that material exist. My data Exist at Mseg Table. But the problem is this that there is no Ebeln value exist in the Mseg table. Can someone tell me how to retrieve this material data from it.

Check EKKO-EBELN and MSEG-MBLNR.

I already have told you that ebeln does not exist over there.

Use table EKBE "History per Purchasing Document" which links EKKO/EKPO and MKPF/MSEG.

My ebeln dosnt exist over there as well. I think I might have tell the Functional consultant to made another P.O for me.

My functional Consultant have made another P.O but still I m not getting any data in any of the above mentioned tables. I m not getting any kind of data against Ebeln in the Mseg, Ekbe, or any other mentioned above tables plz help me out.

Check based upon fields MSEG-LFBNR (enter your PO number agaist this field) and BWART (enter your movement type under this)

That's the problem brother. My ebeln is not exist in the whole table. I have tried all the above mentioned options but no success yet. It seems to be one material and then it consist of its components. e,g in my senario is this

under components overview.

header data under component view

material: 5000000271 "BATTERY 3.6V 2,1 AH

plant: 2000. Release Date: 15.06.2010

qunatity: 5.000: Delivery Date: 15.06.2010

Thnx for ur cooperation. TheTABLE for the component material is RESB. Here u will find ur required Material with ebeln.

Hi,

From table MSEG take field for Mat. Doc. - MBLNR

Place it in table EKBE for field BELNR.

In EKBE itself you'll find related EBELN.

Try this.

If not working please Reply with you Movement types. I'll give you another links.
