Hey..you can access the archived data using the transaction ALO1 or SARE.

In the transaction SARE, you need to enter the object name and the info structures.

For example..if you wish to access data for the fi documents, then the archiving object FI_DOCUMNT wil be used in the trns SARE.

Or you also you can use the read program of the archiving object if available to access the archived data using the transaction SARA.

This must resolve your issues.

Sequential access to a dataset (reporting):-

through ABAP/4 Logical Databases

works with existing ABAP/4 reports

Direct access to individual objects through Index:-

Access to individual objects depends on an index

Document number must be provided

Reload of archived data:-

not recommended

Direct access from Online Archive (3rd party):-

through Zxxx display transactions

through ABAP/4 Logical Databases
