Hi,

I have just installed a trial version of SAP NW on Windows XP SP2. Now, when i try to create an object in ABAP Dictionary, I get the screen to enter an access key to register that object. Is this the software limitation or do i need to enter some access key here?

Best Regards

Raheel Ahmed

Hello

You did not tell us the name of your object. If you try to create an object not starting with Y or Z then this means you are touching a SAP standard object for which an access key is required.

Hi,

Since you are trying to create a table for the first time, you might require a developer access key without which you will not be able to create any Z or Y tables which are the only ones that the customer can add

Hope this clarifies your question.

Hari

Hi,

well, I was trying to check the feature by creating an object with a test name without specifying Y or Z (my mistake). So problem solved here.

Thanks a lot for yr comments, really appreciate it.

Best Regards
