hi
Hi,
ABAP/4 means ABAP is a fourth generation language. It does not imply you with version name.
Only when u say ABAP 6.40 this means it is a version. Currently the latest version released is ABAP 6.40

"ERP" (successor of "R/3 Enterprise"):
mysap ERP 2004 (also known as ECC 5.0)
mysap ERP 2005 (also known as ECC 6.0)
Some days ago ERP 2005/ECC 6.0 was renamed.
Now the official name is
SAP ERP 6.0
SAP NW04 == SAP Netweaver 04
SAP NW2004s = SAP Netweaver 2004s
ECC 6.0 == ERP 2005 based on SAP Netweaver 2004s

You can follow the menu path System->Status on the resulting screen in the SAP System Data window there is an ICON underneath the component version when you click on that it will display the various components one of which should be SAP_ABA this will show the release (such as 620) and the level with the highest support package that has been installed.
Please remember to reward with points if this answers your question.
