Hi I have installed the ABAP Trail in a Virtual Box

The System works but I down't find the Developer key to program my first ABAP code. The system tell me the Developer Key is not valid. The Key

35408798513176413512 is not working.

Can you help me?

Hi Luc,

Can you open the table DEVACCESS in TX SE16 and print a screenshot of the entries (ie not the medadata)?

I'm not Julie and am not sure if it's he same case but make sure to use DEVELOPER user ID. This is just one of the answered questions, there are more in the archive if you search Google: https://answers.sap.com/questions/227597/developer-key-for-sap-netweaver-as-abap-and-sap-bw.html

Hi everyone,

Jelena is right. In addition, some customers have experienced problems with the dev access key.

As it happened so did I. This worked for me:

1. Log in to the system via SAP GUI for Windows. (ie not ADT).

2. Create a dev object - eg SE38 -> Create program.

3. Enter the dev access key (35408798513176413512) when prompted.

We will investigate this for the next version.(752).

Please let me know if you still have problems.

Hi Julie

Thanks’ for helping my mistake the program must begin with Z or Y so now it works. Thanks for your amazing documentation to install the Sandbox SAP in a virtual Box.
