Good night,
I've been trying for several days to install AS ABAP Developer Edition to practice, but I still can't get it.
The latest version I downloaded was SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP Developer Edition 7.52 SP04. No problem downloading.
I make several attempts following the guides made on virtual machines (Virtual Box). Example (https://www.sap.com/documents/2019/09/32638f18-687d-0010-87a3-c30de2ffd8ff.html) in many of them the installation just stopped progressing without an error message.
Later I found that it is possible to install in a container (I'm new to this topic). I have followed the steps described in this repository: https://github.com/brandoncaulfield/sap-nw-abap-trial-docker-windows
Every time I try it stops and exits the installation at the following point:
I've read in some answers that they recommend putting the . lic in the following path of the extracted files. /server/TAR/x86_64, renaming to SYBASE_ASE_TD.lic
This takes the file, but stops it anyway.
I tried also without renaming the file:
What is the correct way to use the latest rar file (License.rar)? At what time and in what route should it be extracted?
What file can I check to know more details? In the container I do not locate the installation log, but in the virtual machine I found only the same thing that was shown in the console.
I have checked the integrity of the downloaded files and everything seems fine.
