hi,

provide and endprovide are used for logicaldatabase(LDB) INSTEAD OF LOOP AND ENDLOOP

PROVIDE / ENDPROVIDE

Provide and Endprovide are used as Looping Constructs while using LDB.

All the data which satisfies the conditions associated with the Provide and Endprovide statements is picked for each Employee between the given Intervals.

Hi,

There is difference between loop and endloop and provide...endprovide, functionality remains same.

loop ....endloop can be used in normally with internal tables and provide ....endprovide will be used with LDB - Nodes. specially used in HR ABAP programming.

loop .. endloop is used in case of internal tables

provide.. endprovide for ldb

LDB are logical databases and should be used if and only if large amount of data is to be processed.
