Hi,
Pa30 we use to change the data of employee and also we use it display data..
Where as in Pa40 we use it to create the employee while he joined in a company...

To add that, PA20 is for displaying data. You can easily switch between PA30 and PA20. You can do so by going into hr master data->maintain.
