i want to know MAXIMUM HOW MANY LINES CAN WE WRITE IN TEH ABAP/4 TEXT EDITOR????

u can have any number of lines in ABAP editor.

SAP ABAP Editor does not restrict the number of program lines to be inserted. A program can have any number of program lines in a ABAP Editor.

You can have any number of lines. But the line lenght is to 255 charactes.

U can have any number of line..but the line size 1023 is maximum.

As for as I know , there is no limitation for lines....

If you are asking about the limitation of lines in the list screen, then by default it will be 1023.

You can check this by going into trx: se38 -> menu Utilities->settings->Data browser tab

You can change this lines limit also ... for this you can refer the following thread
