ABAP Development tool plugin installation failed

Hi All,

We are trying to install ABAP Development tool plugin in one of our Windows server but we encountered with below listed error.

We don't have internet facility in our server, so we are trying to install this plugin manually.

Also, we followed below SDN link and we try to install missing features using "ABAPinEclipsePreRequisitesForEclipse4.2Juno.p2f" file import, but again it required Network facility to install all the features.

SDN:

To fix this error we have to import 4.2 Juno PTF file into HANA studio which is a pre-requisite.  Juno file can be downloaded via below link;

Platform:

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

HANA Studio Version: Version: 2.0.8

Java Version: java version "1.7.0_79"

ABAP Development Tools:

We tried with bellow package but we are facing same problem.

1 - SAPBASISAIE00_1-70001587.ZIP (SP00 for SAP ABAP IN ECLIPSE 2.60)

2 - SAPBASISAIE00_10-70001311.ZIP (SP00 Patch10 for SAP ABAP IN ECLIPSE 2.54)

3 - SAPBASISAIE00_10-70001311.ZIP (SP00 Patch10 for SAP ABAP IN ECLIPSE 2.54)

4 - SAPBASISAIE00_6-10011741.ZIP (ABAP Development Tools for SAP NetWeaver 2.0)

5 - SAPBASISAIE00_9-20009671.ZIP (ABAP Development Tools for SAP NetWeaver 1.0)

Error Message:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

Do we really need network facility to install ABAP development tool plugins ?????

please confirm and help us if we have any alternative method to do this installation manually.

Hi,

Not an expert, but:

- why Juno if it's old?

- if you manage to identify the package you're missing, you can download it on a PC with network, and later work only with files I think

Eclipse is cool in that sense you can install it successfully in one PC where you have internet access, and later move it around packed as zip.

maybe try https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/mars instead of https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna that worked for me

You can try with MARS or NEON Version. Preferably NEON.
