ABAP APO

Can any one tell me how is learning APO an added advantage for an ABAP developer?

Learning APO will not help, but leaning APO related ABAP can certainly help.

APO ABAP is somewhat different than normal ABAP.

The advantage of ABAP programming is as you know it is developed for only SAP and APO is one of the component of SAP so it uses same ABAP programming and it won't be any major differences in terma of coading. Only thing is if you have APO Knowledge at least in theory you will have advantage.

APO has five sub components with in like

Master Data

Demand Planning

SNP and

so on
