2 step background job mal-functioning

I have a 2 step background job. Each step executes a BDC and prints data in case of successful process and failure as well. The job status is should successful. But, the spool of the first step dosn't contain any data.

what could be the reason. It's very critical. Please help.

Hi,

Why can't u debug and see what happend?

Put a break point in ur program.Select the job in SM37, Enter jdbg in command prompt and press enter. Control will go to the program. Now debug and see what happend.
