Send PDF file by E-Mail

Hi all,

I want to send a pdf file by e-mail in XMII 12.1.

Anybody can help me?

Hi,

Have you created PDF file first? If not, you need to use a following action blocks to create PDF and send that in mail as attachment.

1. PDF Document

2. PDF Table (its depend on ur requirement, you can also use other PDF actions like PDF text)

3. Image Saver (To store a PDF file into some specific location)

4. Send Mail action block.

Regarding PDF creation, you will find many threads in SCN. So please do refer that also.

You can also link the image string output (same as linked into the image saver) directly into the email action (attachment content).  Make sure to properly set the attachment content type and provide a name with file extension for the attachment.  This way it will be an embedded attachment without needing to save the file.
