As we plan our deployment of the SuccessFactors mobile app and Jam mobile app, one of the key items we've discussed is whether we will deploy these apps through our own App Catalog (Airwatch). This would be consistent with our other mobile apps and give us tighter control over deployments and assignments.
I understand that the SF mobile app has monthly and quarterly releases with updated app builds. So my question is, would deploying the app through our own app catalog, allow us to hold off on deploying new versions of the app monthly and instead deploy these updates at the time of our choosing while consolidating/grouping a number of updates into one package? This would greatly help with reducing frequent testing efforts and allow us to carefully consider when to launch these updates to end users. Thank you.
