SM35 - secession showing in process

Hi All,

One user has created a scession in SM35 which is shoing in process from last one hour. Is there any way to check if this acession actually processing something OR any way to manually complete this scession,

Hi Deepak,

Please follow the following steps:

TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THE CURRENT SESSION:

1. Go to T Code SM35.

2. Display the BDC session and check the total number of transactions in the BDC session, the number processed and those in error. If this number of processed transactions is increasing, then the BDC session is under processing. Wait for it to finish.

IN CASE THE SESSION IS STUCK:

1. Go to the menu path in SM35: Session -> Release. This should put the session again available under the main tab with status create. Now process the BDC session as usual again in foreground selecting display errors only so that you can correct any errors as they happen. This should solve your issue.

2. Another approach in case you are not able to release the session would be to export the session from SM35 using the menu path Utilities->Export and then delete the current session. Then from SM35 you can again import the session earlier exported using the menu path Utilities->Import. Then process the newly imported session in foreground selecting display errors only so that you can correct any errors as they happen.

Hi Sudir,

Your solution help me post unprocessed transactions in SM35.

Followed solution;

Step 1: Go to SM35 > highlight Session Name you want to continue process > Click the Release button (Green Flag)

Step 2: Click Process Session icon and proceed posting transactions.
