Process order showing double component in materials tab.

Hello Experts,

We are facing the curious issue process orders with doubled components in materials tab no pos. number at the doubled component without item number.

Process order which are created via plan orders from APO system have sometimes doubled Components , mostly they have no position number , the BOM and Recipe data is correct . If we read the master data from the recipe and the BOM over the production version, the data within the process order is correct as expected again.

I am not sure if this is a interface issue could you please help to resolve this issue.

I will advise you to check this issue once with APO consultant, looks like issue happening when planned orders are received from APO through CIF. check planned orders in APO and check their components as well.

As per given screenshots, Component 1 which is not having Item number and Component 2 with Item number 0010 is having 1 difference in terms of Item Category.so looks like 1st component coming from different method as compared to BOM components.

Also, you can reach out to SAP OSS team, in case of solution is not found after discussion with APO team. You try to do read PP master data option as a workaround for correcting components, for permanent fix, you have to raise SAP OSS ticket to SAP team with replication case so that they can check.

Thanks for your reply,

We have checked the issue with our APO team and we didn't found any duplicate component in APO system, Also we checked the master data there is no issue.

This issue is happening sometimes only like if 50 planned order created from APO and converted to process orders while clicking conversion indicator 2-3 process order affected this issue so its random seems like interface issue it is creating duplicate components.

We have created OSS to SAP for support in this issue.

It looks like the kind of issue created by custom code. Are you sure you don't have any BAdI or user-exit implemented in the production order or in CIF?
