Document XXXX XXXX in fiscal year 2022 has already aged item 004

We are facing the following error while reversing a payment document via FB08, there is no clearing item against this as well.

if we change the date to 09.03.2022 (the date of document creation), we get a different error

"Start date 09.03.2022 of period of performance is later than end date . .."

Question:

1. What is causing this error?

2. How to fix this issue?

P.S: This issue has been there since Feb 2022, it wasn't there before that.

nawair Nope, for now we have asked the end user to stop reversing the payment document.
