Dear SAP Experts,
My client moving on ECC to S/4 HANA, Production is based on WBS BOM & Sales Order BOM hence there is No standard BOM is Maintain. After Migration WBS BOM for Header Material is not exploding in MD4C due to Production Version is Mandatory on S/4 HANA. To Avoid these kind of error i need to Create Standard BOM first to assign Production Version.
Is there any Functionality to Assign WBS BOM Or Sales Order BOM in Production Version.
Thanks In Advance
Yes, you should create production version, because it is mandatory after S4 version.
you can create production version as usual, just maintain the material BOM into it. Because the order BOM have higher priority than material BOM, the planned order will use the order BOM.
BTW, you should maintain the correct planning strategy.

Dear Derek,
Thanks for the reply,
I have already assign WBS element in Sales Order, I have Already maintain WBS BOM for Header material & also for Low level Material, but after MRP Run through MD51, while converting Planned order to Production Order for inhouse material System Asking for Production Version.

1. T-code: VA01, create a Sales order firstly and assign a WBS in the account assignment.
In this step, just link the SO and WBS.
2. T-code: CS61, Create order BOM.
Comparing the BOM.
3. Run MRP, and Check Planned order
Since the order BOM has higher priority, so the components of Order BOM will be linked into planned order .
With the steps above, you can achieve the WBS link different BOM indirectly, just involve a Sales order.
There is no way to link WBS and create WBS BOM directly.
