Set Contact status to Obsolete using MDR (Mass data run) in SAP C4C

Hello Experts,

We have a requirement to set the status of Contacts(which are not linked to any account) to Obsolete using a Mass data run which would run monthly.

Initially, we analyzed and created an MDR action in which we query the Business Partner BO using the QueryByCommunicationData with the BusinessCharacterCode("BUP001") as the selection parameter and could not find any other relevant parameter to drill down the data.
We put other checks in the then following 'foreach' and 'if' statements.

This works fine in our test tenant but we have close to 9 lakh contacts in our live system currently and this would definitely throw a dump while running the Query if we run the MDR.
Could you please suggest any other of achieving this without querying this huge data in our code?
