We’re pleased to announce that SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 21 has been released on the 29th of October 2024.
This new Feature Pack 21 includes enhancements to existing functionalities and new features in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager.
The following enhancements are the main highlights of the new feature pack:
- SAP Machine 17 Support
Starting from version 2.0 Feature Pack 21, SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager support SAP Machine 17 only. SAP Machine 11 is not supported anymore.
Do not forget to verify that all your hardware devices support SAP Machine 17 before updating to SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 21
- Tomcat 10 Support
Starting from 2.0 Feature Pack 21 onwards SAP Customer Checkout switches to Tomcat 10. SAP Machine 17 is a prerequisite to run SAP Customer Checkout with Tomcat 10
- Globalization: support for 5 new languages
Extended internationalization of user interfaces by supporting five new languages: Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, Greek, Portuguese (Portugal)
Gift cards - New section “Bulk download” available within the Gift card configurations app to retrieve several instances of a gift card configuration and simplify the way to distribute gift cards at any point in time.
- New “Gift Card bulk download” email template available within the Email templates app to send a digital gift card to email from the Digital gift card page
- New field "Email used for download” available within the Gift card app to verify the email that was used to send gift card from the Digital gift card page
- New design “Optimized for smartphones” available within the Gift card designer app to create new smartphone-optimized gift card layout that can be used for digital downloads
- New function button “Copy” available within the Gift card designer app to copy a gift card design to easily reuse existing designs as a base for new ones and speed up the process of creation
- New field “Gift card design” available within the Gift card configurations app to apply a gift card design with a gift card configuration
- Extended possibility to consider specific rule conditions and rule actions for the Article sub-group and POS sub-group available within the Gift card configurations app. Now, assigning the Parent Article group and Parent POS group, will consider the relevant sub-groups when the payment via gift card with specific rules is applied
- New permission "Accept gift card payments when offline" available within the Users app and Roles app to restrict the cashier from using gift cards in offline mode
Sales reports
- New report “Revenue per article and timespan” available to get an overview of which articles were bought in which timespan
- New report “Revenue per payment method and top-level article group” available to give an overview of the revenue that was done by the top-level article groups and the payment method
- New filter “Loyalty account type” available in the Loyalty reports app to improve analysis of all data from loyalty features and ensure that the data results of the report are filtered to match the selected loyalty account type only
- Improve sales and gift cards reporting by renaming “POS group” filter label to “POS group (incl. subgroups)” so that it is possible to create reports that consider the whole sub-hierarchy instead of only considering the directly selected POS group
- Improved voiding old receipts when merging tables into one receipt in Table service mode, it became easier to differentiate receipts that were merged into one and follow the receipt history changes
- Improved notification handling in Table service mode so that it became easier to get notified of table/receipt conflicts and take actions accordingly
- Enhanced discount appliance process by implementing the validation "prohibit discounts on articles higher than 100%" for material percentage discounts
- And many more enhancements
