SAP Community - Where are you from?

SAP Community keeps growing and growing and I am super excited for this Welcome Corner as it gives the chance for not only new members but everyone to get to know one another and connect with each other.

As my colleague @KatherineKenneally gives an overall introduction to the Group and what you can expect from it in her blog post, I’d like to take the opportunity to start a discussion about the different locations represented in our global SAP Community. I am interested to read where you are located and where SAP Community is spread around the world.

I am from Germany and currently living in Wiesbaden, which is the capital of one of the sixteen German states located in the west. After years of studies and living in different places, my hometown has caught me again with its charm and the closeness to friends and family has won me over.

But now I am curious, where are you tuning in from?

There are oftentimes physical events, where you can meet other community members in person. Read the blog post from @Kritika_H where he wrapped up the call meeting. Maybe you join the next one? 😉

I am asking because there are several location groups in the US - you might want to subscribe to those, which are close to where you live. Where are you from in Germany? I would like to encourage you to find the most closest location group for you here in SAP Community. For Europe, including Germany, search here. Don't forget to "join" the group if you found one closeby where you live! It's a great opportunity to connect with other local community members 🙂

@Dean_F I am curious is this learning journey is appealing to you? For example - Exploring SAP Cloud ERP | SAP Learning and Discovering RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, premium plus Implementation and Adoption

They are beginner though so you may be more advanced. I'm curious on behalf of other community members with similar paths where you will get started to build your knowledge. Thanks.

@StephanieMarley No, we are currently on-premise only and plan to stay that way as long as we can (2040?). We will only be migrating parts of our environment to the cloud as we are forced to, probably starting with Integration Suite and CloudALM after we have fully transitioned to S/4HANA.

Welcome @JorgeMarazzo - I would recommend that you join our SAP Learning Groups, such as the Beginner Corner. The colleagues there might suggest which SAP Learning Journey would best suit your needs. For future reference, you could join our Career Corner group and get notified of positions that arise in the SAP ecosystem. Hope this helps for starters.
