Using Account Dimension properties as filter in SAC Planning

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if its planned in the upcoming realeases to support the functionality of filtering in a story/table based on the account dimension properties? I found this note that clearly says is not supported by design, but I really don't understand why, since there are a lot of business scenarios where this is needed.

Basically it's forcing people to use a dummy account dim (classic model) or just don't use an account dim (new model), with all the implications this have.

If there's any news on this will be very appreciated.

HI Andres,

Can you please make a request in Influence for this. We already have another item tracking for story/filter use of multi-select hierarchy filters on accounts. You can create a new entry, or make a comment on the existing item (as I believe the inclusion of the attribute filters would also be included as part of a based delivery for that).

Hi Andrés,

for this and some other reasons we don't use the account dimension for the G/L account in our Integrated Financial Planning content https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2977560 that is based on the new model. Instead, we model the G/L account as a generic dimension.
