SAP MDG On-Premise versus On-Cloud

Hi

I would like to know if there are any functionality differences between SAP MDG on S/4HANA On-Premise and SAP MDG on S/4HANA On-Cloud ?

Since in the help document for SAP MDG on S/4 HANA On-Cloud I have only seen topics like Consolidation, Mass-Processing and Data Quality Management.

Please advise.

Thanks for the information.

As i understand

1) The setup of the SAP MDG solutions for Material, BP and FI master data objects follows the same configuration process / steps in SAP MDG on S/4 HANA Cloud Extension Edition as that in the SAP MDG on S/4HANA On-Premise version.

2) The On-Cloud version of the SAP MDG solutions can also be customized / enhanced as per the customer requirements.

Please confirm my understanding.

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD MTE has been renamed to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Essentials Edition

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD STE has been renamed to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extended Edition

SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Essentials Edtion has some limitations as Markus Ganser outlined in the other thread.

SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extended Edition and SAP S/4HANA on-premise are identical.
