Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.
I work for a fairly large company that has been using Business Objects (BI Launch Pad) for more than a decade.
This version of BO will only work with Internet Explorer 11 and with IE11 being pulled in a few months and it doesn't work in Edge/Chrome/Firefox etc does anyone here have a workaround/solution?
When trying to access the site through Edge (or any other browser) the following is shown:
(Server name redacted).
My company is willing to use (purchase/licence) a desktop client (if one exists and has the same level of functionality) or if anyone has a fix for the above? Any help is appreciated.
While your version is not supported, it will work fine with current browsers, for most part.
The error you see is related to your HTTPS certificate, it has either expired or is self-signed.
Contact your company's network/security team to replace/renew certificate used and then it'll work in all browsers again (with limitations as your version is too old.)
As to the client question - this depends on how/what exactly you're using and how.

As I see in the screenshot you are using an old BI version (BI 4.0) which is no longer supported.
You must upgrade your BI version to the currently supported version in order for it to work correctly with the new browser version.
