SAP BOBJ FIORI & controlling Categories

Since we don't user Categories within the SAP BOBJ BI Launchpad - no access - not visible - we want to keep the categories also invisible within FIORI UI - but I can't find any controll right to get rid of the All Categories entry within FIORI Ui.

Is there a way to hide it or not?

Hi,

If you are unable to see the categories in Legacy launchpad the same rights should also be applicable in Fiori launchpad.

Kindly go through the KBA's :

1889193 - How to hide Categories in BI launch pad

2583469 - Hide "Mobile Properties" or "Categories" or "Document Link" in BI launch Pad is not possible

It seems so. Even if a new user is created which is not part of many groups it will show same behaviour.

Thank you Omkar, so I assume in Fiori it is also by design -because we don't have the possibility to hide all unused or right restricted features within BOBJ Webi.
