Dear Customer,

According to link SAP S/4HANA Simplification Item Check – How to do it right, if the return code in the Consistency Check is higher than 7, it will impact and halt the SUM process. I have noticed that there are multiple items with a return code of 8, which need to be resolved before proceeding with the SUM process. It is important to note that the check is performed in client 000 by SUM, so if previous checks were conducted in other clients, the results may vary.

Firstly, the relevance check is performed on the productive client to identify the relevant Simplification Items (SI). Then, the consistency check is carried out on client 000, evaluating only those simplification items that are marked as relevant or potentially relevant to the system. These checks rely on the data from t-code ST03N. It is important to note that the check result may not be accurate if there is no ST03N data available. For more detailed information, please refer to Note 2399707 - Simplification Item Check.

Best regards,
Vera Jiang
