Validation using a matrix table - SAC Analytics Story

Hello,

I have two dimensions that need to be combined following specific validation rules. Unfortunately, I can't use the validation option on the model.

Instead, I'm using a matrix table where I mark authorized combinations with "1" and unauthorized ones with "0". I'm not sure if this is the best practice, so if you have a better approach, please let me know.

However, with this method, I don't know how to prevent data insertion in the unauthorized combinations. How can I achieve that?

Thanks.

Hi @Deb, there is no way to upload from excel file. You can either create a member type rule, copy & paste from excel; or create an attribute type rule from dimension attribute and upload from excel to dimension attribute.
